About Us

The Village Veterinarian is a full-service veterinary hospital that has been providing veterinary services to the emerald coast area for over 30 years!

In May of 2023, Dr. Amy Nesius and Dr. Joseph Atwell took over ownership. They strive to keep the same amazing veterinary care and client relationships that have been here for all these years while also growing the practice to offer even more to the community.

We offer a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing, as well as external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. Our facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, and in-house x-ray capabilities. We strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for many years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when they are not feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy for a long life together.
